Kinvolt Conventional Battery is engineered to protect against leakage, corrosion, withstand vibration and deliver high cranking power.
• Pb-Ca PLATE reduces self-discharge and water loss, long cycle life
• SAFETY GAS-VENT relieves excess pressure
• SEALED POST resists corrosion and extends battery life
• THROUGH-PARTITION CONSTRUCTION delivers maximum power
• POLYPROPYLENE COVER AND CONTAINER gives resistance to gas, oil and impact
I. Warning
1. The inside electrolyte will corrode metal, cotton product. Use properly.
2. Do not lay the battery flat or put upside down to prevent acid leakage
3. The hydrogen will be generated during the working and discharging of battery which will cause explosion if there is fire.
4. DO NOT place the metal tool or conducting matter nearby the terminal in case short-circuit occur.
5. DO not knock the terminal by hammer during the battery installation
6. Keep safe during carrying to prevent hitting
2. Precautions for Battery Use
1. Store and Use the battery in a well-ventilated environment.
2. Sparks and flame are prohibited when the battery is in maintenance
3. If the battery is being charged outside the vehicle,it should not be installed immediately after charging is finished. It should be left to stand for 10 minutes to release the hydrogen generated insidethe battery.
4. After riding, the battery cannot be removed immediately. It should be left to stand for 10 minutes.
5. During charging, the ambient temperature should not exceed 45°C, otherwise cooling measures such as water cooling or reducing the charging current and charging volt should be taken.
II. Key points of Installation and Maintenance
1. Always connect the positive terminal first. Reversing the polarity is prohibited, otherwise the electrical equipment of motorcycle will be damaged.
2. When filling with acid, wear acid-proof clothing, rubber boots, shield glass and rubber gloves.
If the skin and clothes are splashed with acid, rinse immediately by large amount of water. Seek medical assistance if necessary.
3. Avoid over-discharging the battery.
4. If the motorcycle has not been used for a long time, disconnect or remove the negative terminal of battery.
5. Regularly check the connection of the terminals and whether the surface of the terminals is clean to ensure a good connection.
7. Store the battery in an environment with a temperature of 5 - 25°C, which is dry, ventilated and no direct sunshine. Keep the battery at least 2 meters away from the heat source. Regularly check and maintain the battery.
